Learn about the excellent coverage you get from Cision’s medical, dental and vision plans along with the Cycle to Work scheme and Gym Subsidy we offer. These benefits are an important part of your rewards, and we want to help you get the most out of it.

Private Medical Insurance (for directors and above)

Depending on your contract, you may be eligible for Private Medical Insurance (up to family cover), which is paid by the company if you are a director or above.
For more details on your eligibility, policy rates, deduction types, and tax rates, please log on to Zest and review this information.

Please note that if Cision covers the cost of your insurance, it is considered a ‘benefit in kind,’ and you will be required to pay Income Tax on the cost of the benefit through P11d.

Dental Insurance

All regular employees, Cision-paid temporary employees, and their eligible dependants are eligible to participate in private dental care through Bupa. You can access care through a Bupa-owned dental centre, or any other dental centre. If you choose to use any other dental centre, you’ll need to pay for your treatment yourself and claim some or all of it back, depending on the limits of your cover.

You can choose from different levels of cover and can opt to add your partner and family. Here are details of the maximum amount and your eligible dependents covered by the policy can claim up to in each policy year. These benefit allowances are per person. Full details of what is and isn’t covered can be found in Section 3 of the membership guide.

Eye Care Tests

The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, amended in 2002, are in place to protect workers who regularly use computer screens. All workers who use computers and also work from home are covered by these regulations. Employees are entitled to claim free eye tests once per year and a percentage of the cost towards single vision spectacles should they be required for computer work. Requests for eye tests should be completed through the Service Now (app found on your Cision Okta homepage) under Facilities- Office Services.

Gym Subsidy

At Cision we believe in supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees. By offering a gym membership subsidy, we aim to promote and support for your physical and financial wellbeing.

All eligible employees can claim up to 50% of their monthly membership each year, up to a maximum of £25 per month (£300 per year).

You can make a claim via Zest each month, you will need a copy of your monthly membership cost or a bank statement in order to complete the reimbursement process.

Please note: payments cannot be backdated and must be requested each month at the maximum of £25.

Cycle to Work

Cyclescheme is a salary sacrifice benefit which means you can exchange part of your salary for a new bike, accessories or both.

Once you know what equipment you want to purchase, you can select the amount you wish to spend on your bike kit from £100-£2,000 in Zest and this is then repaid to Cision via 12 monthly salary deductions with the added benefit of both tax and National Insurance savings.

Once your request has been approved, you will receive a Cyclescheme certificate via email for the approved amount which can then be used at a bike shop, instore or online or directly with a brand at over 2,500 retailers nationwide.

At the end of the 12 month period, you decide on an ownership option directly with Cyclescheme and can keep your kit by making a small one off payment.
