NEW Life Insurance
From 1st January 2025, Life & Accident Insurance is provided to all employees in Hungary. This benefit is designed to provide financial protection in the event of an accident or other life-changing events, ensuring peace of mind for you and your family. enhance your well-being and provide additional security for you and your loved ones.
How do I enrol?
All employees will be automatically enrolled in this new insurance plan with Metlife, which offers important financial protection in case of an unexpected life event or accident.
This benefit is employer paid so there is no cost to you.

Beneficiaries
In the unfortunate event of death in service, it is important that the provider know who you would like the life insurance payment to be paid to. Therefore all employees should complete the attached beneficiary statement (Cision | Falcon) and return this to peoplesharedservices@cision.com. You are required to keep the original signed document on record as this would be required should a claim need to be made.
How do I make a claim?
Please discuss any potential Accident insurance claims with your local people partner who can submit a claim on your behalf.
You will be required to submit medical evidence, and complete a privacy statement as part of the claims process.
What happens when I leave?
This cover will stop on your last day of employment.
Cafeteria Benefits Allowance
All employees are eligible for a Cafeteria allowance that can be used to create your personalised benefit package according to your own personal needs and interests.
This can be split between the SZÉP card ((szálláshely/ accommodation pocket)) and a cash benefit.
Due to changes in legislation all previous subaccounts of the SZÉP card are now combined in the accommodation subaccount but this can be used for all services such as accommodation, hot meals and leisure activities.
Employees have two options available to choose from with different taxation and cafeteria amounts as shown below, the company suggests option 2 as it has better taxation rates but the final decision is up to the employee.

When do I receive my allowance?
The Company pays the Cafeteria benefit quarterly in advance, in January, April, July and October.
New employees are eligible from the 1st day of the month following their start date with a pro rata amount of the yearly net 400.000 HUF.
How do I select which payment option I would like?
Employees need to inform the People Operations team by email peoplesharedservices@cision.com of the option they would like to select for the full year by 14th January each year.
New employees should inform the People Operations team by email peoplesharedservices@cision.com of the option they would like to select within 10 working days of their start date.
How do I receive my log in details for the SZÉP card providers portal?
Our provider ABT, will send an email to all new employees with their log in details for the ABT Cafeteria Platform, and will allocate the pro rata amount on the platform within 10 days of joining the company.
What if I don’t already have a SZÉP card?
If an employee doesn’t already have a SZÉP card yet and they wish to receive the benefit then they need to contact the providers (ABT) bank and agree a contract with them. They will then receive a certificate with their SZÉP card account number from the bank and should send this to peoplesharedservices@cision.com along with their payment option choice as soon as possible so that the company can arrange for a pro rata payment to be made into their account.
What happens if I am on leave?
If an employee is unable to work for more than 30 calendar days, you will not be eligible for the Cafeteria benefit after the 30 calendar days until you return to work.
If an employee is on maternity or parental leave, you will be still eligible for the Cafeteria benefit and the Company will continue contributing the annual amount while you are on this type of leave.
What happens if I leave?
When leaving the Company, the employee is eligible for the Cafeteria benefit during their notice period, but not eligible during a garden leave period. They will be eligible for a pro rata amount of their yearly remaining Cafeteria benefit based on their last day working day.
If the quarterly Cafeteria benefit has already been paid out, any surplus benefit for that quarter will be deducted from your final salary.
The Cafeteria benefit period runs from 1 January – 31 December each year, and the Company reserves the right to revise the setup and/or amount of the Cafeteria before the beginning of every new year.
