Medical options

Across the U.S., you have three options for medical coverage through Aetna’s Choice POS II Network and Quantum Health.

While you can’t go wrong with any of our options, take time to choose the plan that works best for you and your family. Keep in mind monthly costs, deductibles, in-network benefits, types of care coverage, and access to Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Accounts.

Consider This Option If:

  • You want free preventive care and tax advantages with a Flexible Spending Account.
  • You want the option to see in and out-of-network providers
  • You’re comfortable paying more every paycheck in exchange for lower payments when you need care.

Consider This Option If:

  • You want free preventive care and tax advantages with a Health Savings Account.
  • You want the option to see in and out-of-network providers
  • You want free HSA match money from Cision.
  • You’re fine with a modest per-paycheck contribution in exchange for a lower deductible than the HDHP Saver.

Consider This Option If:

  • You want free preventive care and tax advantages with a Health Savings Account.
  • You want the option to see in and out-of-network providers
  • You don’t mind meeting a higher deductible in exchange for no paycheck contributions.

Save more with an HDHP

With a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you’ll need to pay a certain amount (called a deductible) before the plan shares the cost of care. Preventive care, however, will always be free (think checkups, most screenings, and vaccines), and an HDHP offers tax advantages. Plus, you’re protected from huge bills thanks to the out-of-pocket maximums that you pay each year before the plan takes over and covers any additional costs.

You have two choices: the Saver or Value HDHP. Here’s how either plan could keep more money in your pocket:

Access free preventive care anytime. You’ll also only have to pay copays for preventive medications, even before you meet your deductible. Some preventive medications/services may have no cost to you at all. For further details, please review our medical plan documents and summaries on the Documents page.

Emergency care

Your Cision Medical benefits keep you safe when the unexpected happens. Under Cision’s medical plans, we’ve got you covered if you need to take a trip to the emergency room:

Get virtual care

When you’d rather get care from the comfort of your home, you can visit with a board-certified doctor anytime, anywhere through your smartphone or computer. They’ll be able to help you with minor health issues (think the common cold, seasonal flu, allergies, common infections) and sometimes even renewing  prescriptions. Plus, you might save money and time by skipping the in-person office visit.

Here’s how to connect to virtual care through your plan provider:

  • Employees enrolled in a Cision Medical plan can access Teladoc virtual care through their website, mobile app or by calling 800.362.2667.

Traveling on work assignment

The deductibles do aggregate differently between plans when you cover dependents. The Choice PPO and Saver HDHP deductibles work the same way. All participants contribute toward the family deductible but no one needs to meet more than their individual deductible before the plan begins paying. The Value HDHP is different in that if you cover dependents, then you must meet the full family deductible before the plan begins to pay claims. You do not have a true individual deductible under the Value plan if you cover dependents.
