Across the U.S., you have three options for medical coverage through Aetna’s Choice POS II Network and Quantum Health.

While you can’t go wrong with any of our options, take time to choose the plan that works best for you and your family. Keep in mind monthly costs, deductibles, in-network benefits, types of care coverage, and access to Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Accounts.

How HDHP and PPO Deductible Differ

The deductibles do aggregate differently between plans when you cover dependents. The Choice PPO and Saver HDHP deductibles work the same way. All participants contribute toward the family deductible but no one needs to meet more than their individual deductible before the plan begins paying. The Value HDHP is different in that if you cover dependents, then you must meet the full family deductible before the plan begins to pay claims. You do not have a true individual deductible under the Value plan if you cover dependents.

Choice PPO Medical Plan

  • You’ll pay less out of pocket when you get care, but your per-paycheck contributions are higher than the other Cision medical plans.
  • For in-network doctor visits or services, the plan pays 80% after you meet your deductible ($750 self only; $1,500 family).
  • For out-of-network services, the plan pays 60% after you meet your out-of-network deductible ($1,000 self only; $2,000 family).
  • With this plan, you can open a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)  with WEX and make your own payroll contributions.

Value HDHP

  • Your per-paycheck contributions are in the middle of the Cision medical plans, but you’ll pay more out of pocket when you get care.
  • For in-network doctor visits or services, the plan pays 80% after you meet your deductible ($2,500 self only; $5,000 family).
  • For out-of-network services, the plan pays 50% after you meet your out-of-network deductible ($4,000 self only; $8,000 family).
  • With this plan, you can open a Health Savings Account (HSA) with WEX and make your own payroll contributions. Cision will also match the your employee contribution to your HSA account, up to $500 for self-only coverage, or up to $1,000 for family coverage.

Saver HDHP

  • Your per-paycheck contributions are the lowest of the Cision medical plans (employee-only coverage is $0), but you’ll pay more out of pocket when you get care.
  • For in-network doctor visits or services, the plan pays 100% after you meet your deductible ($7,000 self only; $14,000 family).
  • For out-of-network services, the plan pays 100% after you meet the out-of-network deductible ($14,000 self only; $28,000 family).
  • With this plan, you can open a Health Savings Account (HSA) with your own payroll contributions. However, Cision will not contribute to your HSA.

How Our Aetna Plans Work

Adobe’s Aetna plans all provide comprehensive care, including preventive care with no out of pocket costs . See Prescription Drugs (link to page) to learn how preventive care medications are covered.

When you use in-network providers, you’ll pay less for care: Your deductible is lower, Aetna pays a larger share of the discounted in-network rates, and your out-of-pocket maximum is lower.

You have the freedom to use an out-of-network provider, but you will pay significantly more: Your deductible is higher, Aetna pays a lower share, and you’re responsible for any charges above the plan’s recognized charges. Charges above the recognized charges (balance billing) or charges for health care the plan doesn’t cover do not count toward your deductible or your out-of-pocket maximum.

Your Care Advocates

From replacing ID cards to more complicated matters, like claim resolutions, no request is too big or small for your Quantum Care Coordinators.

Think of Quantum Care Coordinators as your personal team of nurses, benefits experts and claims specialists who will do whatever it takes to support your unique healthcare needs. They are your one resource to contact whenever you need help with your medical, wellness or pharmacy benefits.

Empowered and resourceful, Quantum Care Coordinators do things like:

  • Verify coverage
  • Contact providers to discuss treatment
  • Answer claims, billing and benefit questions
  • Find in-network providers
  • Provide health education resources

Quantum Care Coordinators also help confirm precertification of services, to make sure you’re always covered:

  • Inpatient and skilled nursing facility admissions
  • Outpatient surgeries
  • MRI/MRA and PET scans
  • Oncology care and services (chemotherapy and radiation therapy)
  • Genetic testing
  • Home healthcare
  • Hospice care
  • Durable medical equipment (all rentals and any purchases over $1500)
  • Organ, tissue and bone marrow transplants
  • Dialysis
  • Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient for mental health/substance abuse.

Telehealth

When you’d rather get care from the comfort of your home, you can visit with a board-certified doctor anytime, anywhere through your smartphone or computer. They’ll be able to help you with minor health issues (think the common cold, seasonal flu, allergies, common infections) and sometimes even renewing  prescriptions. Plus, you might save money and time by skipping the in-person office visit.
