Mental Health Support
Cision offers a full range of programs to help you handle everyday challenges, build resilience, and reduce stress. If you or a family member is coping with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, or an eating disorder, jump to a section below to learn how you can get help by using your Cision benefits.
24/7 Support
Get immediate help 24/7. You and your family can get help anytime by calling TELUS Health (toll-free) at 800-433-7916.
Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
When you’re struggling, you don’t have to go through it alone. Cision has partnered with Telus Health to offer the employee assistance program (EAP) at no cost to you.
Whether you want someone to point you in the right direction or a partner to go along with you on the journey, your first stop should be a Telus Health coordinator, who can direct you to the support you need.
The EAP provides you, your spouse or domestic partner, and your dependents with easy access to confidential, short-term counseling services and additional work-life resources. You don’t have to be enrolled in a Cision medical plan to use the EAP.
Get Started
Visit the Telus Health website to start using the EAP today. Download the free app from the app store or Google play – simply search for ‘TELUS Health One’. When using the app, enter ‘cision’ as the company code and then you will be directed to enter your Cision login information.

How to add your free +1
One of the best ways to increase the likelihood that you’ll stick to a health goal—like meditating daily with the Headspace app—is to have the support of another person to keep you accountable and share the experience.
Cision employees can add up to 5 loved ones to access Headspace benefits.
To add your loved ones:
- Log in to Headspace from your computer (you cannot do this from the app).
- After logging in, click on your name in the right corner of the page.
- Click on Accounts.
- Navigate down to Subscription Details, and click edit.
- Click on Manage Accounts on the right.
- You’ll be taken to the Manage Accounts page, where you can invite one family or household member.
If you have trouble navigating, use this link to go directly to the Manage Accounts page at headspace.com/family/manage after you’ve logged in to Headspace.
Medical Mental Health Benefits
Your Cision medical plan covers a full range of outpatient and inpatient support and treatment options. Mental health services are covered according to your plan:
After you meet your deductible, the plan pays 80% or 100% of the cost for in-network care, and 60% or 50% of recognized charges for out-of-network care.
If you find your own provider, remember that there could be a big difference in cost if you go out-of-network. You’ll have a higher deductible, and you’ll need to pay a higher percentage of the cost. Plus, if an out-of-network provider charges more than the usual and customary maximum, you’ll be responsible for any amount over the maximum.
Your Quantum plans provide members with comprehensive coverage and a variety of ways to access care:
- Virtual care, or telehealth, which encompasses talking to someone by phone, video, chat, or text using Teladoc (the deductible is waived for mental health care accessed via Teladoc)
- Outpatient care, such as talking to a therapist in person or participating in a program that doesn’t require overnight stays through the Aetna network or a provider of your choice
- Inpatient care, which is when you stay at a facility to receive care
Below is what each plan will cover if you need mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse services, including rehabilitation services. To learn more, please review our plan documents and summaries on the Documents page.
