Parental Leave

Cision recognizes the importance of key moments in our employees’ lives. Whether you’re planning for your first child or welcoming another to the family, your Cision benefits will meet you where you are to lend a helping hand. As a result, Cision offers Parental and maternity leave associated with the birth of an employee’s own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection with adoption or foster care.

Employees can learn more about Parental and Maternity leave by visiting the Documents page.

If you are welcoming a new child into your family, please visit the Documents page as soon as practicable to learn more information on how to file a claim with Lincoln Financial Group.

Mothers and primary caregivers are eligible for 14 weeks of leave paid at 100% of base salary.

Under our parental leave program, all secondary caregivers and fathers will be eligible for 6 weeks of leave paid at 100% of base salary.

To assist mothers and primary caregivers with the transition back to work, our gradual return-to-work schedule allows you to work four days per week for four weeks after taking Maternity Leave.

Welcoming a child to the family is a beautiful time. However, it can also get a little expensive. To celebrate your new family member, Cision will pay $1,000 to employees 30 days after their full time return to work from Parental or Maternity Leave.

Cision will reimburse up to $5,000 for certain eligible non-recurring expenses directly related to the process of adoption.

* Please note that all leaves of absence are unpaid unless the employee is eligible for benefits under short-term disability, long-term disability, workers compensation, parental leave or if he/she chooses to use earned PTO. Cision complies with federal and/or state mandates for required time-off benefits. Should there be a discrepancy between the two, the governing agency that offers the greater benefit prevails. Employees should contact their Human Resources representative with any time off questions.
